The Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) Economic Diversification Fund 2026–2027 supports collaborative projects that help strengthen and diversify the Queenstown Lakes economy and deliver the goals of the Economic Diversification Plan.
Projects supported through the fund should introduce value beyond business-as-usual, foster innovation, and create lasting benefits for our people, place and economy.
Expression of Interest (EOI) submissions are optional and open until 30 Aug 2026.
An EOI is an opportunity to share your early project idea with the Economic Futures team. We can provide feedback, connect you with relevant organisations or contacts, and help strengthen your application before submission.
You do not need to submit an EOI to apply.
Full applications open on 31 July 2026 and close on 30 September 2026.
Before submitting your EOI, please read the fund guidelines, which outline the eligibility and assessment criteria.
Please note that EOIs are not part of the funding assessment process. You are welcome to refine or change your project idea, partners or approach before submitting a full application.
