The following QLDC funding rounds all open for applications 1-30 April 2026. Each fund has its own purpose and criteria, so please choose the option that best fits your kaupapa.
QLDC Community Fund 2026-2027
Supports not-for-profits, charities and community groups to enhance local wellbeing outcomes. Available for operational or project funding
QLDC Events Fund 2026 -2027
Helps deliver vibrant, inclusive events that benefit our community. Open to both commercial and community event organisers.
QLDC Heritage Incentive Grant
Supports anyone looking to preserve or enhance listed heritage assets (natural and built) in the Queenstown Lakes District.
QLDC Waste Minimisation Community Fund
Supports initiatives that promote sustainable use of resources and waste reduction across the district

The Funding Series (2026)
Free monthly workshops designed to strengthen funding capability for community groups, staff, volunteers, boards and trustees. Sessions run across Arrowtown, Queenstown and Wānaka from March to June and cover:
- Funding Fundamentals
- The Funder’s Perspective
- Measurement and Impact
- Alternative Funding and Creative Hui
